This Conference is
dedicated to the memory of David Hammond who died of complications following a stroke in 2008. David was a great scientific innovator, a gifted public speaker and a good friend and colleague of many people in the plasma fractionation industry. He will be greatly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known him.
